Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chico Dominguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anghel Ama!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ama is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dominguez is pawing at Ama, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Ama's nose. Ama is badly hurt! Dominguez pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Ama tries desperately to hold on but Dominguez is relentless in his assault! As Ama receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Dominguez away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chico Dominguez!
A less than humble Chico Dominguez misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
