The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muntz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Muntz misses with a few strikes there.
Muntz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Del Rio's head backwards.

Del Rio drives through and clinches with Muntz against the cage.

Muntz manages to break the clinch.
Muntz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Muntz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Muntz moves into range and clinches up with Del Rio.
Muntz scores with a shoulder strike.
Del Rio jumps guard but Muntz turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Muntz breaks from the clinch.
Del Rio fails with a takedown attempt.

Del Rio closes the distance and clinches.
Del Rio looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Del Rio is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Muntz is defending well.

Muntz lands a body punch in the clinch.

Del Rio goes for a takedown attempt but Muntz pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Muntz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Del Rio circles away quickly and effectively.

Muntz closes the distance and clinches.
Del Rio throws a knee to the head but misses.
Del Rio managing to block the knees to the body from Muntz.

Muntz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Del Rio rushes Muntz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Muntz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A right-left combo lands from Muntz.

It looks like Alberto Del Rio has been cut.
Muntz connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Del Rio throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Muntz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Del Rio is in Muntz's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Muntz is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Muntz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Muntz fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Del Rio to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Del Rio looks to clinch but Muntz throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Del Rio taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
