Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rohan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamdija Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rohan Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hamdija Han!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han throws a jab but it's blocked by Khan.
Hamdija Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Khan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Han throws out a loose jab but Khan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Han throws a poor cross that misses

and Khan counters with a shoot takedown. Han fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Khan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Khan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Han told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Khan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Khan stops Han from standing up.
Khan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Rohan Khan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Khan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Khan is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Khan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Han is trying to stand.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rohan Khan just wasn't active enough.

Khan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Han manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Khan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Han can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Khan controls the pace.
Khan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Han is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Khan is controlling him.

We're going to have a standup here because Rohan Khan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Khan slips under a jab.
Khan moves away from the strike by Han.
Khan throws a big shot that misses.
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Han moves out of range easily.
Khan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A telegraphed right hand from Han misses the target.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Han and Khan goes tumbling to the canvas! Han follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.


It looks like Rohan Khan has been cut.
Khan is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Han seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Khan wants to control but Han is keeping busy and won't allow it.
It looks like Han is going to stand back up.
Khan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Khan is working hard here to advance position.
Han is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Khan manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Han has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Khan is proving hard to escape from.

Khan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Han defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Han wants to get up but he can't break Khan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Khan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Han defends well.
Han wants to stand but Khan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Khan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Khan seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Khan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Han tries to avoid it but Khan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Han to the ground. Han escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Han tests Khan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Han throws a right hand that misses

and Khan moves into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Han tries to pull guard but Khan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Han jumps guard but Khan stands there with Han around his waist. Han gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Han fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Hamdija Han will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Rohan Khan's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Khan fails with a takedown attempt.
A slow jab from Han misses its intended target.
Khan blocks a jab.
Han lands a nice shot that snaps Khan's head back.
Han throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Han uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Khan.
Han misses with a hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Khan is defended easily by Han.

Han throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Khan tumbling to the canvas!


Khan is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan is looking to stand up but Han isn't so interested in that idea.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Khan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Han wants to stand but Khan is controlling his posture from full guard.
Han postures up.
Khan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Han is one step ahead there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

and Khan counters by moving into the clinch.
Khan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Han jumps guard but Khan stands there with Han around his waist. Han gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rohan Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hamdija Han.

Khan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Han throws a hook but Khan blocks it.
Rohan Khan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A swing and a miss from Han.
Hamdija Han is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Han misses the jab.
Khan moves out of range as Han strikes.
Han darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Han lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Han cracks Khan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Khan moves out of range as Han strikes.

Han moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Khan goes down! Can Han finish him!?
Oh Khan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Han tries to stand but Khan is controlling from the bottom.

Khan seems keen to control Han's posture.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rohan Khan.

Han drops Khan with a big left hand and mounts him. Khan is in big trouble!
Khan tries to reverse the position but Han maintains control.
Han tries to control but Khan wriggling away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khan is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
Khan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Khan is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Han is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Khan bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Khan seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rohan Khan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Han moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Han thows a left - swing and a miss!

Khan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Han was covering up waiting for the punch and Khan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Khan wants to control from the top but Han keeps moving.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Han wants to stand but Khan is controlling the position.
Han is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Khan controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rohan Khan wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Nice takedown defense from Han. No joy for Khan on that attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Han connects with a jab.
Han jabs Khan right on the nose. Khan blinks but takes it well.
Han swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Han lands a jab to the nose.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hamdija Han showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Khan slips a jab from Han.
A jab from Han misses.
A clash of legs there as Han blocks the low kick.
A lazy left from Han finds it's target.
Khan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Han cracks Khan with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hamdija Han!
Rohan Khan spoke after the fight, saying 'It happens, I want merik hunt. '.
