Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Helix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bot Souza!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helix loads up on a big right hand but Souza slips the punch.
Bot Souza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Souza fails in his attempt to clinch.

Souza gets caught napping as Helix dives in and scores a takedown. Souza manages to retain guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Helix is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Souza wants to get back to his feet but Helix is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Helix throws a big right hand that misses.

Helix throwing strikes from guard but Souza blocks nicely.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Helix accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Helix is working Souza over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Helix pushes down on Souza's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Helix seems to be working for a kimura but Souza defends the submission attempt.
Souza is looking for a sweep. Helix is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Helix not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Helix is nestled in close to Souza, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Helix passes the guard and advances to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Helix cracks Souza with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Souza felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Helix cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Souza is rocked!
The referee warns Souza that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Souza is still in real trouble! Can Helix finish him?
Helix connects with a bit shot that sees Souza covering up! More strikes from Helix and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Helix is our winner by TKO!
