Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Suleman Pokong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hart's choice of entrance music: Hide Your Tears. Suleman Pokong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pokong stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pokong wants it to stay on the feet.

Hart shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hart showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pokong wants to get back to his feet.
Hart lands strikes from half guard.

Hart is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Hart is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pokong sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hart lands a nice short elbow.
Pokong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hart on the ground.

Hart is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pokong doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hart.
Hart is looking to take a break and control but Pokong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hart goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pokong turns into him and now he's in Hart's guard.

Pokong decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Pokong lands a nice shot to the body.
Pokong blocks the body kick.
Hart throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hart. Pokong shrugs it off though.
Hart shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pokong defends it nicely.
Pokong misses with a few strikes there.
Pokong tries to close the distance and clinch but Hart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pokong instigates a clinch.

Hart breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hart throws a head kick that misses.
Pokong misses with a wild body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hart wants to clinch.
Hart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pokong tries to avoid it but Hart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pokong to the ground. Pokong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Suleman Pokong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Hart.
That kick from Pokong tenderised Hart's leg. Hart is trying to keep his angry face on.
Horrible takedown by Hart or perhaps it was just good defense by Pokong which made him look bad.
Pokong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pokong swats away the attempt to clinch by Hart.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pokong takes a kick to the side of the head.

Hart gets the takedown into side control.

Hart working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pokong is sitting in close to Hart's body. Hart has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pokong is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pokong is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hart.
