The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Michaels.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Michaels stands up and beckons Brayn to his feet.

Michaels gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brayn to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Brayn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Michaels's guard.
Michaels is refusing to be controlled, as Brayn sits in half guard.
Brayn controlling the pace.

Brayn postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Michaels to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Michaels scores with a decent looking hook.
Michaels connects with a crisp jab.
Michaels looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Michaels will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brayn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Michaels sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brayn somewhat.
Brayn ducks right into an uppercut from Michaels.
Brayn fails with a takedown attempt.
Brayn looks up at the clock. Bad move! Michaels lands a right hand from hell, dropping Brayn. Michaels pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Dwayne Michaels spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
