Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arron Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arron Hart has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Cannon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cannon gets to his feet. Hart looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hart tries to clinch there but Cannon circles away.

Cannon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hart tries to get to full guard but Cannon has control of the leg.

Cannon stands up from half guard.

Hart tries for a takedown but Cannon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cannon shoots and misses

and Hart counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hart.
Hart fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arron Hart. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hart manages to break the clinch.
Hart takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cannon looks winded!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hart throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cannon's waist but Cannon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hart off to one side.
Cannon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hart is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Hart shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cannon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hart tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hart leaves Cannon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cannon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Nice sprawl there from Cannon as Hart shoots in.
Hart has a takedown stuffed.

Hart clinches.

Cannon is looking to take this one to the mat.
Hart is trying to drag Cannon to the mat but Cannon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hart drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cannon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hart fails with the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tim Cannon dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cannon darts in looking for a takedown but Hart gets double underhooks and turns Cannon into the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Cannon pulls guard.

Cannon is looking for a triangle but Hart pushes his legs off easily.
Hart will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hart wanted to stand there but Cannon had control of the position.

Cannon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hart gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hart is looking to stand up but Cannon won't let him.
Cannon is breathing heavily.
Cannon is trying to keep Hart in close.
Hart has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cannon is proving hard to escape from.

Hart decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cannon, up you get!
Cannon closes the distance and clinches up with Hart, looking for a takedown. Cannon pushes Hart against the cage but Hart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hart fakes the leg kick and cracks Cannon in the body.
Cannon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hart.

Hart takes the fight into the clinch.
Cannon has Hart pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hart manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Arron Hart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Cannon.

Hart pulls guard.
Hart trying to keep a closed guard but Cannon is proving a slippery customer.
Cannon stops Hart from standing up.

Hart working for a triangle but Cannon defends it easily.
Hart looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cannon is one step ahead there.
Cannon works over Hart with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cannon drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Cannon as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Hart screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Cannon! Nice submission victory there!
