Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Bog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sonnen.
Sonnen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bog's hands.
Bog throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sonnen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Bog shoots in and bounces Sonnen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bog prevents Sonnen from getting back to his feet.

Sonnen kicks Bog off and gets to his feet.
Sonnen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bog's waist but Bog gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sonnen off to one side.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sonnen enables Bog to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sonnen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Sonnen manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bog accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sonnen wants to stand and escape but Bog is having none of it.
Bog looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bog postures up in Sonnen's guard and throws a big left but Sonnen blocks it.
Bog stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sonnen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bog is looking to work some ground and pound but Sonnen has wrist control.

Bog is trying to hold Sonnen in close to prevent damage but Sonnen has managed to pass into half guard.
Sonnen seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Sonnen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Sonnen stands up and beckons Bog to join him on the feet.

Bog gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sonnen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bog wants to sweep but no luck.
Sonnen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sonnen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Bog looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sonnen won't allow Bog to get back to his feet.
Sonnen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Sonnen stands up over Bog, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Sonnen gets to his feet. Bog looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Sonnen throws the left hand but Bog avoids the punch easily.
Sonnen connects with a crisp jab.
Jordan Bog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Sonnen or perhaps it was just good defense by Bog which made him look bad.

Sonnen is breathing heavily.
No joy there for Bog, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bog shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sonnen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sonnen wants to stand but Bog is controlling the position.

Sonnen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bog off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Bog lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sonnen circles away quickly and effectively.
Bog feints a jab promting Sonnen to slip. Bog then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sonnen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bog leaves Sonnen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sonnen checks a leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bog throws a leg kick but Sonnen checks it.
Bog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bog gets a takedown into half guard.
Sonnen tries to kick Bog off but Bog keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bog moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bog takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sonnen scores with a jab. Bog acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Sonnen throws a combination. Bog tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bog misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bog feints a jab promting Sonnen to slip. Bog then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sonnen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Sonnen lands a right hook to the body.

Sonnen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bog is staying active underneath Sonnen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Sonnen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bog is looking for a sweep. Sonnen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sonnen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sonnen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bog with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bog can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bjorn Sonnen.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sonnen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
