Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bud Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Albert Ward will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bud Light!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert Ward!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light shoots for a takedown but Ward saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Light closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ward tries to buck Light off but Light is having none of it.
A lull in the action here as Light stalls from top position.
Light working the strikes but Ward uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Light prevents Ward from improving his position.
Light missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Light stops Ward from getting back to his feet.
Light controlling the action here.
Light wants to take a breather but Ward is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Light not doing much here.
Light knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ward on the ground.

Bud Light has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ward avoids a punch combination nicely.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Light.
Light trying to control the action but Ward is working from the bottom.
Ward gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Light misses with a head shot. Ward uses the momentum to regain guard.
Ward lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Light!
Ward can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Light is looking to escape.

Ward is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Ward extends the arm and Light is forced to tap!
