Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Arroyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Django Kinte!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Kinte finds it's target.
Kinte throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Arroyo counters with a good low kick that Kinte was not able to check.
Kinte misses with a few strikes there.
Arroyo slips under a jab.
Arroyo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kinte takes a jab right on the kisser.
Arroyo avoids the body shot from Kinte.
Arroyo lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kinte looks to score with a jab to the body but Arroyo is just out of range.
Kinte misses with a few strikes there.
Arroyo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kinte. That did some damage!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Arroyo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arroyo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kinte looks winded!
Arroyo slips a jab from Kinte.
An inside leg kick lands from Arroyo.
Kinte swings for the body but Arroyo moves out of range.
Kinte takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Arroyo scores with a leg kick.
Arroyo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kinte if he has to take too many more of those.
Arroyo jabs Kinte to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Arroyo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Arroyo lands a nice looking body kick.
Nice body kick there by Arroyo.
Nice defenses there by Arroyo.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Arroyo.

Kinte takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kinte's coach down at Weed Nation was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kinte's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A head kick from Arroyo lands but Kinte takes it in his stride.
Arroyo scoring well with a low kick there.
Good leg kick by Arroyo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Arroyo throws an overhand right that drops Kinte like a sack of potatoes! Arroyo dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Javier Arroyo!
