The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanhood lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Savage at a distance.
Savage misses with a low kick as Vanhood jumps back.
That kick from Savage tenderised Vanhood's leg. Vanhood is trying to keep his angry face on.
Savage slips a jab and a cross from Vanhood.
Vanhood takes the fight into the clinch.
Savage landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Savage pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Savage misses with the head strike.
Vanhood looking for a takedown.
Vanhood wants a takedown but no success here.
Vanhood is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Savage is defending well.
Johnny Savage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robin Vanhood.
