Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simo Solmu!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozsar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Pozsar slips a straight right by Solmu.
Pozsar instigates a clinch.
Solmu wants to take the fight to the mat but Pozsar manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Pozsar prevents a takedown attempt there.
Pozsar comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Simo Solmu has been cut.
Solmu is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pozsar gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Tomi Pozsar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simo Solmu.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Solmu drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pozsar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Solmu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Solmu looks winded!
Pozsar connects with a jab.
Simo Solmu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Solmu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pozsar.
Pozsar paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Solmu is rocked!
Pozsar throws a pinpoint strike between Solmu's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Solmu crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Pozsar scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tomi Pozsar!
After the fight, Tomi Pozsar was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
