PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Czeplak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Sesay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Czeplak kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Do przodu Polsko. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Czeplak tries to bum rush Sesay with a series of wild strikes but Sesay uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A punch combination from Czeplak misses.
Sesay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Czeplak swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sesay closes the distance looking to clinch
and Czeplak counters with a left and a right that stings Sesay.

Sesay breaks from the clinch.
Sesay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Czeplak lands an overhand right.

It looks like Aaron Sesay has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sesay is looking to clinch but Czeplak is avoiding it.
Sesay tries for a takedown but Czeplak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Czeplak looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Sesay is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Czeplak gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Czeplak has had enough of the clinch but Sesay keeps him there for the moment.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sesay.
Krzysztof Czeplak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Sesay.
Sesay plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Czeplak is trying to push Sesay away but Sesay has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A short body shot lands from Sesay as the two fighters clinch.

Czeplak looking to score a takedown here. Sesay is defending well but Czeplak drives through and ends up in Sesay's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Czeplak drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sesay dives on top into guard.

Czeplak has control of Sesay's left arm, preventing Sesay from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Krzysztof Czeplak wasn't doing enough on the ground.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Czeplak displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sesay.
Czeplak is pawing at Sesay, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Sesay's nose. Sesay is badly hurt! Czeplak pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Sesay tries desperately to hold on but Czeplak is relentless in his assault! As Sesay receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Czeplak away and this one is in the books!
