PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atlas Kartos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dum Vivimus Vivamus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vivamus has chosen Ratamahatta as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Vivamus checks a leg kick.
Kartos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vivamus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Vivamus.
Vivamus tries to land a front kick but Kartos steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

That kick from Kartos tenderised Vivamus's leg. Vivamus is trying to keep his angry face on.

Vivamus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vivamus takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

It looks like Dum Vivimus Vivamus has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kartos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vivamus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vivamus moves out of range of the body kick.
Vivamus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kartos.
Vivamus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kartos misses with a two punch combination.
Vivamus avoids the head kick by Kartos.

Kartos throws a sloppy head kick and Vivamus moves out of range easily.
Atlas Kartos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kartos lands a left and a right that send Vivamus crashing to the mat, dazed. Kartos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kartos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vivamus moves away.
Kartos works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
