Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atilla Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Killing In The Name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Atilla Khan!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Khan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Khan counters with a stiff right hand.
Jake Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Khan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Anderson thinking.

Anderson is trying to drag Khan to the mat but Khan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Khan is pressed up against the cage. Anderson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khan down to the mat. Khan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fight stays on the outside here - Khan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Anderson is working an open guard so Khan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Khan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Khan shoots in but no luck this time.

and Khan counters with a three punch combo that has Anderson backing up. Anderson nods at Khan to acknowledge the strikes.


Anderson is rocked!
Khan wants to clinch.
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

and Khan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Khan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Anderson looks for a takedown but Khan sprawls well.
Anderson seems to have got his legs back now.

Khan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Anderson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Khan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Khan has picked Anderson up - he's going for a ride! Khan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Khan decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Anderson fails with the takedown
and Khan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Anderson.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Anderson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Khan stands up and beckons Anderson to his feet.
Khan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Anderson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Khan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Khan has Anderson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Khan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Anderson tumbling to the mat - Khan dives into Anderson's guard.

Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown but Khan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Anderson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Anderson goes for a double leg but Khan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Khan continues to drive forward.
Khan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Andersons head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Atilla Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Anderson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Khan after a bit of a struggle.

Khan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Khan.
Khan scores with a nice hook to the head.
Anderson is working for takedown but Khan is calmly controlling the position for now.

Khan is trying to trip Anderson. He has hold of a leg but Anderson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Khan persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

and Khan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Khan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Anderson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Anderson won't allow Khan to get back to his feet.
Khan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Anderson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Khan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Anderson has Khan in his guard.

Khan stands up and waves to Anderson to follow him.

And that's the end of the fight!
Atilla Khan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Khan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
