Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Carrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Carrey.
Jimenez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jimenez trying his best to control but Carrey has mounted him.
Jimenez swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Jimenez is trying to reverse the position but instead Carrey has taken his back - oops!
Carrey doesn't have the hooks in and Jimenez manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carrey keeping moving, preventing Jimenez from controlling successfully.
Jimenez tries to stand but Carrey is controlling from the bottom.
Carrey should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jimenez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Carrey dives on top into guard.
Jimenez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jimenez working for a triangle but Carrey defends it easily.

Jimenez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Carrey stacks Jimenez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Carrey!
Carrey gets to mount! Jimenez was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jimenez squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Jimenez tries to reverse the position but Carrey maintains control.
Carrey looks gassed!
Jimenez wants to hold on but Carrey pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Jimenez misses with a takedown

and Carrey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jimenez's guard now.
Jimenez is looking to stand up but Carrey isn't so interested in that idea.

Jimenez has an active guard here but Carrey has managed to pass into half guard.
Carrey is thwarting Jimenez's attempts to control the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jimenez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Carrey!

Jimenez jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Carrey is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Carrey and Jimenez has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Jimenez has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Carrey is in real trouble here. Jimenez gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Carrey is tapping out! Jimenez wins by rear naked choke!
