Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Al Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Shamrack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Al Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Shamrack!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake tried to score with a low kick but Shamrack checks it.
Shamrack fails with the takedown.
Drake stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Drake throws a nice looking combination but Shamrack bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A nice combination there by Drake.
Drake throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shamrack counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Al Drake has been cut.
Shamrack misses with a takedown
and Drake counters with a head kick. That will keep Shamrack thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Drake misses the shot to the body.
Drake connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shamrack. Shamrack circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drake lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Drake.

Shamrack is rocked!
Drake closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Shamrack! Drake dives in looking to finish! Shamrack is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Drake!
