Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Stealth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tobias Battle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rex Stealth!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stealth gets a clinch.
The referee calls for Stealth to work.

Stealth tightens his grip and picks Battle up, before dumping him to the ground. Battle manages to land in guard.
Stealth is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Battle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stealth is aware though and is defending well.

Battle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stealth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stealth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stealth trying to control the position from guard on top but Battle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stealth stays in close to Battle's body and controls the position.

Battle is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Stealth would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Battle is looking to stand up but Stealth isn't so interested in that idea.
Stealth stands up over Battle, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Battle wants to stand up but Stealth is controlling him.

Stealth stands up from Battle's guard - Stealth perhaps looking for a knockout.

Stealth shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Stealth trying to control the action but Battle is working from the bottom.
Battle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stealth is working away from the top position though.

Stealth is working for a kimura but Battle is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Battle is looking to get back to full guard here but Stealth has managed to pass to side control instead.
Battle sneaks back into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stealth wants to control but Battle is keeping him busy.
Battle wants to improve his position but Stealth is controlling well.
Battle wants to get back to his feet.

Stealth tries to pass the half guard into mount. Battle knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Stealth keeps trying to improve his position.
Well, if Stealth is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Battle looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rex Stealth dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Stealth feints and as Battle raises his hands in defense, Stealth changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Battle throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Stealth trying to control but Battle is working from the bottom.

Battle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stealth trying to control the position from guard on top but Battle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stealth stops Battle from standing up.
Battle keeping moving, preventing Stealth from controlling successfully.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Stealth is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Battle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Battle has escaped and now he's on top!
Battle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Stealth wants to stand up but Battle is controlling him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stealth can do anything to dispel that myth.
Battle tries to stand but Stealth is controlling from the bottom.
Battle chips away with some ground and pound.
Battle trying to stand up but can't free himself from Stealth's guard.
Battle is looking to work some ground and pound but Stealth has wrist control.

Battle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Battle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Stealth is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Battle won't allow Stealth to get back to his feet.
Battle wants to get up but he can't break Stealth's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Stealth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Battle is one step ahead there.

Battle gets to his feet. Stealth looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Stealth stuffs the takedown.

Battle shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stealth keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Stealth controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

Battle decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Battle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stealth sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Battle gets caught flat footed, as Stealth shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Stealth drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Battle dives on top into guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stealth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Battle is one step ahead there.
Battle postures up in Stealth's guard and throws a big left but Stealth blocks it.
Battle throws a big elbow that misses.
Stealth wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Stealth not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Battle wants to get up but he can't break Stealth's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Stealth wants to control but Battle passes easily into half guard.
Battle wants to stand but Stealth has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tobias Battle will probably get the nod.

Stealth shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Battle but Battle pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Battle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stealth can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Battle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Battle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stealth is controlling him.
Battle has a closed guard, preventing Stealth from standing up.
Rex Stealth has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Stealth not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rex Stealth was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Stealth must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Battle wants to stand and escape but Stealth is having none of it.

Stealth has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rex Stealth wasn't active enough on the ground.

Stealth clinches up with Battle and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Stealth gets control of Battle's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stealth will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Battle is looking to stand up but Stealth won't let him.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rex Stealth comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stealth has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
