The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longhold closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bresner did well to prevent Longhold getting side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Longhold is trying to control the action in half guard but Bresner is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A pretty intense looking Steve Longhold took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
