The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bogaurd is fending him off so far but Freeman persists. Nope, Bogaurd circles away and we're back to standing.

Bogaurd displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Freeman.
Remel Bogaurd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Django Freeman.

Freeman dives in for a single leg takedown but Bogaurd sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bogaurd takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Freeman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bogaurd can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Freeman is looking to cinch up a triangle. Bogaurd throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Freeman's body to avoid the submission. Freeman has instead reached around Bogaurd's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Freeman arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
