The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas tries for a takedown but Campos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Campos slips a jab from Thomas.
Campos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Thomas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Campos defends it nicely.
Scott Campos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bradley Thomas.
Thomas misses with a takedown attempt - Campos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Campos ducks under a wild hook from Thomas.

Campos wants to clinch up but Thomas keeps it at a distance.

Thomas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Campos sprawls well initially but Thomas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Thomas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Thomas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Campos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thomas.

Campos is looking for a sweep. Thomas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Thomas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Thomas has hold of Campos's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Campos seems comfortable defending it but Thomas has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Campos is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Campos is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Thomas couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A determined Bradley Thomas didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
