Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaito Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kaito Suzuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Hall!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall fakes the leg kick and cracks Suzuki in the body.
Hall moves away from the strike by Suzuki.
Hall scores with a nice strike.
Suzuki punishes Hall's body with a nice straight punch.
Suzuki dips to his left and cracks Hall with an uppercut!
Hall slips a jab from Suzuki.
Hall connects with a jab.

Suzuki pushes Hall up against the cage in a clinch.
Suzuki lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Suzuki blocks an uppercut.
Suzuki lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hall.

Hall ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hall no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Suzuki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Suzuki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Suzuki has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kaito Suzuki just wasn't active enough.
Hall swings for the body but Suzuki moves out of range.
Suzuki connects with a crisp jab.
Suzuki looks to land a left hand but Hall moved out of range nicely.
Hall throws a sloppy head kick and Suzuki moves out of range easily.
Hall jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Suzuki lands with a straight right. Hall didn't see that one coming.
Suzuki looks to land a combination. Hall sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Suzuki jabs at Hall's body.
Hall lands with a shot to the body.

Suzuki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hall, pushing him back against the cage.
Hall is trying to force a seperation but Suzuki has the dominant position.
Suzuki scores with a shoulder strike.
Hall lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice body punch from Hall - that landed with a thud.
Suzuki is breathing heavily.
Suzuki wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hall is trying to drag Suzuki to the mat but Suzuki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Suzuki prevents Hall from breaking the clinch.

Hall fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Hall pulls Suzuki into guard.
Suzuki's corner is telling him to maintain position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Kaito Suzuki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Suzuki moves out of range of the strikes.
Nice defenses there by Suzuki.

Suzuki has Hall up against the cage in a clinch.
Suzuki wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hall has him pressed against the cage.

Hall jumps guard and drags Suzuki to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hall is trying to keep Suzuki in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mike Hall.
Suzuki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hall.
Suzuki scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hall.

Suzuki closes the distance and clinches.
Suzuki lands a hook to the side of the head.

Suzuki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hall digs a good body shot into Suzuki's ribs.
Hall scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Suzuki doesn't manage to clinch there - Hall circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Hall. Those never looked like landing.
A clash of legs there as Suzuki blocks the low kick.

Suzuki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hall just misses with a punch to the body.
Hall slips a jab and a cross from Suzuki.
A big left from Suzuki misses.
Hall lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Suzuki gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hall throws a poor cross that misses
and Suzuki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Suzuki fails with an attempt to clinch.
Suzuki connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hall momentarily.
Hall throws out a loose jab but Suzuki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Suzuki moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Suzuki misses with a looping right.
Hall throws out a loose jab but Suzuki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Suzuki sprawls well. Suzuki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hall gets slowly back to his feet.
Kaito Suzuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Hall.
Hall lands a nice looking kick to the body. Suzuki takes a step back to recover.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kaito Suzuki will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Suzuki lands with an overhand left.
Hall drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hall dips to his left and cracks Suzuki with an uppercut!
Suzuki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hall.
Suzuki is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hall throws the left hand but Suzuki avoids the punch easily.
Mike Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suzuki dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Suzuki scores with a hook to the body. Hall takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Suzuki rushes Hall and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Suzuki lands with a right to the head.
Hall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Suzuki walks away with a smile on his face. Hall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hall punishes Suzuki's body with a nice straight punch.

Suzuki works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hall fails to land with a series of punches.
Suzuki moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


It looks like Mike Hall has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Suzuki lands a jab-cross combination.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hall throws a big shot that misses.
Hall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Suzuki sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Suzuki scores with a hook.
Hall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kaito Suzuki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Suzuki closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Suzuki.
Hall jumps guard but Suzuki stands there with Hall around his waist. Hall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hall bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Suzuki throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hall tried to score with a low kick but Suzuki checks it.

Suzuki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hall, pushing him back against the cage.

Hall is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Suzuki is defending well.
Kaito Suzuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Hall.
Hall has Suzuki pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Suzuki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Hall swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hall misses with a hook from the clinch.
Hall tries to pull guard but Suzuki forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Suzuki is pressed up against the cage. Hall has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Suzuki down to the mat. Suzuki avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Hall on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Suzuki takes one to the chin there.
Suzuki lands a head shot.
Suzuki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hall works over Suzuki's head and body with a nice combination.
Hall on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Suzuki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Hall jumps guard but Suzuki stands there with Hall around his waist. Hall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Suzuki throws a jab but it's blocked by Hall.
Suzuki throws a looping overhand right but Hall ducks down to avoid it.
Suzuki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hall throws an overhand right that lands on Suzuki's shoulder, as Suzuki tries to avoid the shot.
Hall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Suzuki misses with a straight right.
Hall bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hall cracks Suzuki with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hall throws a body punch but Suzuki moves out of range.
Hall has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Suzuki fails with an attempt to clinch.
Suzuki takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kaito Suzuki dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Mike Hall's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Hall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Suzuki slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Hall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hall throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hall darts in looking for a takedown but Suzuki gets double underhooks and turns Hall into the cage.

Suzuki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Suzuki closes the distance and pushes Hall back into the cage.
Hall misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kaito Suzuki has scored more points in the clinch so far.
Suzuki stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A left hand lands to the body for Suzuki.
Hall tries to throw a body punch but Suzuki avoids it by throwing Hall back against the cage.
Hall has a couple of punches blocked by Suzuki.
Hall misses with a hook from the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Suzuki.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Suzuki manages to break the clinch.
Hall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Suzuki lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hall backs up against the cage.


Hall is rocked!
Suzuki Throws a clean left jab. Suzuki Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Hall's chin! Hall crumbles to the ground and Suzuki follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Suzuki!
