Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Red Darglio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Darglio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Black Keys "Funk #49". Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King motions for Darglio to come forward. King throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

King shoots in and drives through. Darglio sprawls well.
King fails with an attempt to clinch.
King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Darglio avoids it really well and circles away.

It looks like Brian King has been cut.
King pulls out of a head kick attempt.

King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Darglio.

Darglio drops his shoulder and cracks King with a huge uppercut! King goes down! Can Darglio finish him?

Darglio works a leg free and moves into half guard.
King is still in real trouble! Can Darglio finish him?
Darglio seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
King seems to have recovered his senses.
Darglio wants to free his trapped foot but King is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Red Darglio wasn't doing enough on the ground.
King shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Darglio defends it nicely.

King lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Darglio circles away quickly and effectively.

Darglio is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King.
King blocks a low kick nicely.
Red Darglio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

King takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Darglio avoids the head kick by King.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brian King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darglio throws a shot from downtown. King moves away and avoids it.
King throws a series of punches but Darglio avoids them all with ease.
