And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan fails with a takedown attempt.
Hogan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hogan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Velasquez pushes Hogan off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Velasquez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hogan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Velasquez pinned against the cage. Velasquez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kain Velasquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hulk Hogan.
Hogan avoids the head kick by Velasquez.
Velasquez throws a head kick that misses.
Hogan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Velasquez throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Hogan looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hogan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Velasquez can pounce on him.
Both fighters circling a little - Velasquez finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Velasquez lands a head kick that stumbles Hogan and the fighters go to the mat.

It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Velasquez stands up and waves to Hogan to follow him.
Velasquez with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Velasquez and Hogan goes tumbling to the canvas! Velasquez follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Hogan is rocked!
Velasquez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Hogan is still in real trouble! Can Velasquez finish him?

Velasquez stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Velasquez - that will leave a mark!
Hogan seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Velasquez chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Velasquez lands a front kick.
Velasquez throws a nice outside leg kick.
A head kick lands from Velasquez that sends Hogan to the canvas. Hogan tries to scramble back to his feet but Velasquez brings him back down into side control.

Hogan is rocked!
Velasquez cracks Hogan with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Velasquez immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hogan is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Velasquez!
