PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gonzalo Valencia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Nik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Valencia drives through and clinches with Nik against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gonzalo Valencia will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Nik is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Valencia is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Valencia flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Nik anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Valencia and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Nik slips an arm under Valencia chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Nik has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Nik is squeezing on Valencia like an anaconda would it's prey. Valencia fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
