Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremiah Weed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weed comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie - Superbeast. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weed shoots in but Gunn avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Weed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gunn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Weed unloads with some shots from mount but Gunn bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gunn tries to close the distance and clinch but Weed swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Horrible takedown by Weed or perhaps it was just good defense by Gunn which made him look bad.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jeremiah Weed.
I think Gunn has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
