Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John McGuirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conway has chosen Money in The Bank as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conway looking to score a takedown here. McGuirk is defending well but Conway drives through and ends up in McGuirk's guard.
Conway wants to pass the guard but McGuirk is keeping the position.
Conway won't allow McGuirk to sweep him here.
McGuirk keeping moving, preventing Conway from controlling successfully.

McGuirk is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Dragon MMA Academy that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Conway trying to control but McGuirk is working from the bottom.
Conway stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McGuirk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan Conway wasn't active enough on the ground.
Conway shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and McGuirk moves into the clinch.

McGuirk pulls guard successfully.
Conway trying to control the position from guard on top but McGuirk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McGuirk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Conway loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Conway postures up in McGuirk's guard and throws a big left but McGuirk blocks it.

McGuirk wriggles free and stands up.

Conway bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Conway tries to score with some ground and pound. McGuirk controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGuirk wants to control but Conway postures up.
McGuirk is trying to buck Conway off.

McGuirk throws Conway to one side and escapes!
Conway shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGuirk as he jumps to the side.
McGuirk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Conway manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McGuirk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McGuirk wants it to stay on the feet.
John McGuirk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Conway.

and McGuirk counters with a body kick that stops Conway in his tracks momentarily.
Conway shoots in looking for a takedown. McGuirk tries to sprawl out of it but Conway keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGuirk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Conway looks winded!

McGuirk wants to control from the top but Conway keeps moving.
McGuirk lands a couple of elbows.
McGuirk forces his way into half guard.
Conway wants to control the action here but instead McGuirk manages to pass to full mount!
Conway regains half guard.
McGuirk perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGuirk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Conway does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McGuirk works his way into full mount!

Conway can't escape the position.

Conway is rocked!
Conway tries to hold on but McGuirk pushes him away.
Conway is still in real trouble! Can McGuirk finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
You get the feeling that Conway really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Conway takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
McGuirk controlling his opponent.
McGuirk postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Conway is out cold - huge knockout for McGuirk!
