Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Bilger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emilio EsteveZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bilger's entrance music is its all fun and games. A fine choice. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilger avoids a punch combination nicely.

Bilger drives through and clinches with EsteveZ against the cage.
Bilger lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Bilger scores a nice knee to the body.

Bilger turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
EsteveZ takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
EsteveZ tries to bench press Bilger off him but Bilger keeps the position.
Bilger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for EsteveZ on the ground.
EsteveZ prevents Bilger from moving into mount.
Bilger content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
EsteveZ is looking to regain half guard here but Bilger keeps moving and retains side control.

Oh Bilger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bilger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

EsteveZ has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bilger is proving hard to escape from.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

EsteveZ shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bilger pinned against the cage. Bilger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


EsteveZ lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by EsteveZ.
EsteveZ moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Bilger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
EsteveZ takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Bilger decides to stand back up.

EsteveZ moves in looking to clinch but Bilger pushes him off.

Bilger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bilger seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

EsteveZ is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Bilger keeps control of EsteveZ as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bilger gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Jay Bilger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
