Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohamed Ali Said!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lou Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali Said tries to clinch but Wallace is having none of it.
Ali Said lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Ali Said shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wallace as he avoids it easily.
Ali Said pushes Wallace away with a front kick.
Wallace tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ali Said manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ali Said's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ali Said duly obliges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ali Said shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wallace is trying to defend but Ali Said finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wallace slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Wallace manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Wallace decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ali Said's guard.

Ali Said escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wallace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wallace is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ali Said sees it coming and defends easily.

Wallace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ali Said keeps working.
Wallace uses his free foot to push down on Ali Said's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ali Said.
