Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Aguete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aguete comes to the cage accompanied by Los Redondos - El pibe de los astilleros. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguete moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Aguete scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Khalidov is looking to clinch.
Khalidov closes the distance and clinches up with Aguete, looking for a takedown. Khalidov pushes Aguete against the cage but Aguete circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Khalidov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aguete but Aguete pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Khalidov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Khalidov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rafael Aguete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mamed Khalidov.
Khalidov shoots in looking for a takedown but Aguete manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Khalidov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Khalidov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aguete tries to avoid it but Khalidov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aguete to the ground. Aguete escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aguete checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Aguete throws a monster overhand right that drops Khalidov! Aguete follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
