The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs misses with a straight right.
Arska cracks Briggs with a big right hand and Briggs goes down!
It looks like Jax Briggs has been cut.
Arska postures up in Briggs's guard and throws a big left but Briggs blocks it.
Arska being controlled here momentarily.
Briggs keeping moving, preventing Arska from controlling successfully.
Briggs avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Arska has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Briggs is proving hard to escape from.
Arska with a flurry of punches that miss.
Arska loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Briggs misses with a wild body shot.

Arska slips under a jab from Briggs.

Arska on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jax Briggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Briggs finds it's target.

Briggs takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Arska stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Briggs.
Arska is breathing heavily.
A combination from Arska does no damage.
Nice body punch from Briggs.
Briggs misses with a double jab
letting Arska counter with a right hand.
Briggs misses with a looping left.

Briggs lands a nice hook to Arska's body. Arska takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Briggs fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Arska looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Briggs lands the left hand.
Arska drops his hands momentarily and Briggs takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Briggs lands with a cross.
It looks like Raaka Arska has been cut.
Briggs throws a monster overhand right that drops Arska! Briggs follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jax Briggs!
