Finley gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Finley wants the takedown. Johnson is fighting it off but Finley persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Johnson's guard against the cage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Finley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Finley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Finley has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted.
Finley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.

Johnson pushes a forearm under Finley's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Finley is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
