Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doomsday Drost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zbermat Serlal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drost's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kilpi - Sielut Iskee Tulta. Serlal has chosen Mortal Kombat as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Doomsday Drost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zbermat Serlal!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drost fails in his attempt to clinch.
Drost looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Serlal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Serlal misses with a combination
and Drost connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Serlal throws a jab but it's blocked by Drost.
Serlal looks to score with a jab to the body but Drost is just out of range.
Drost misses the shot to the body.
Drost tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Serlal was well out of range. Poor timing from Drost.

Drost gets caught flat footed, as Serlal shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Drost utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Serlal throws a strike but Drost rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Drost takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Serlal throws a right hand that Drost ducks under and follows up with a left that Drost also avoids with ease.
Serlal fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Drost shoots in for a takedown but Serlal shows good takedown defense.

Drost needs to keep his hands up - Serlal had a free shot at his head there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Serlal clobbers Drost with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Serlal throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A close round but Zbermat Serlal will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Drost lands a slapping body shot.
Drost tries to clinch but Serlal is having none of it.

Serlal changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drost looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Serlal creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Drost sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Drost tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Serlal wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Serlal throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Drost works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

That was a close second round but I would say that Doomsday Drost will probably get the nod.

Doomsday Drost overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Drost is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Serlal is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
