The crowd seem to be enjoying Broadous's choice of entrance music: Snoop Dogg Pimp Slapped. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broadous ducks under a wild hook from This.
Broadous takes a swing at This's ribcage but misses.
This misses with a body shot

and Broadous counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Broadous is keen to just control but This is a slippery customer.
Broadous is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Broadous wants to advance to full mount but This doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
This keeping moving, preventing Broadous from controlling successfully.
This seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Broadous postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! This is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Broadous, into his guard.

Broadous keeping moving, preventing This from controlling successfully.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
This fails to land with a series of punches.
Broadous misses with a combination
and This counters with a three punch combo that has Broadous backing up. Broadous nods at This to acknowledge the strikes.
This throws a head kick that misses.
This jabbing away but nothing is landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This throws a right and a left that both miss.
This throws a sloppy head kick and Broadous moves out of range easily.
This takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Broadous blocks a head kick by This.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Broadous.
Broadous moves out of range of the strikes.
A slapping body kick lands there for This.
The fight stays on the outside here - This looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
This thows a body kick. Broadous tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Broadous changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. This looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This manages to get back to half guard.

Broadous has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can This defend it? Broadous steps over the head and cranks it - This is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Broadous!
