Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandr Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and WIlliam Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob has chosen I got my game on as his entrance music. Aleksandr Karelin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to WIlliam Bob's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksandr Karelin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, WIlliam Bob!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin closes the distance and clinches up with Bob, looking for a takedown. Karelin pushes Bob against the cage but Bob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bob pivots, looking for a leg kick but Karelin is out of range and Bob settles back down.
Karelin misses with a two punch combination.
Bob is looking to land body kicks.
Karelin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bob.
Karelin misses with a few strikes there.
Karelin looks for a takedown but Bob sprawls well.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Karelin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bob - the referee stops the clock and Karelin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bob. Karelin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Karelin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bob circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksandr Karelin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bob throws a shot to the body.
Bob throws a nice looking combination but Karelin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bob throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bob slaps away a takedown attempt from Karelin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Karelin is breathing heavily.
Bob throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bob scores with a nice body kick.
Bob slips a jab and a cross from Karelin.
Karelin dives in for a single leg takedown but Bob sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Bob manages to break the clinch.
Bob lands a nice leg kick that just misses Karelin's sensitive parts.

Bob moves into the clinch successfully.
A right handed body shot lands from Bob.
I was talking to Karelin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Bob manages to break the clinch.
Bob lands a nice looking body shot.
Bob goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bob scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bob tries to land a front kick but Karelin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bob wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Karelin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bob. Bob obviously looking to wear him down.
Karelin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Karelin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bob feints a jab promting Karelin to slip. Bob then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Karelin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A big left from Karelin misses.
Bob lands with a shot to the body.
WIlliam Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Karelin back to the cage. Bob follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Aleksandr Karelin has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bob thuds his shin into the meat of Karelin's side.
Karelin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bob.
Bob digs a good hook to Karelin's body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bob, right into the meat.
WIlliam Bob is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Karelin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A nice leg kick lands there from Bob.
Bob throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bob throws a body kick that misses.
Bob connects with a combination that backs up Karelin into the cage. Bob lands a flurry of punches that gets past Karelin's guard. Karelin is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Bob bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
