Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Semore Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LaF Earthempires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaF Earthempires told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earthempires throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
LaF Earthempires seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Earthempires shoots for a double leg takedown but Bush sprawls well. He's pushed Earthempires's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bush misses with a two punch combination.
Bush thows a left - swing and a miss!

It looks like Semore Bush has been cut.
Earthempires has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Bush counters with a single leg into guard. Earthempires didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bush is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Earthempires is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Earthempires has escaped and now he's on top!
Earthempires drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bush looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bush looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bush!
Bush tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bush has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bush has an Americana. Earthempires didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bush is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bush hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
