Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Havener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daario Naharis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Havener comes to the cage accompanied by Quack Like a Duck: The Goat an Your MOM. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Havener!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daario Naharis!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naharis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Havener manages to avoid it.

Havener closes the distance and clinches.
Naharis prevents a takedown attempt there.
Naharis has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Havener drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Naharis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Havener wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Havener. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Havener manages to break the clinch.
Havener gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


It looks like Andrew Havener has been cut.
Havener keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Naharis lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Havener closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Naharis wants to stall.

Havener breaks the clinch.
Andrew Havener seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Naharis lunges at Havener with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Havener's hand.

Havener gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Naharis is trying to force a seperation but Havener has the dominant position.

Havener escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Naharis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Naharis throws a right and a left that Havener avoids nicely.

Havener closes the distance and clinches.
Havener drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Naharis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Naharis is trying to break the clinch but Havener is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Havener drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Havener keeping full guard, as Naharis tries to pass.
Havener can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Naharis controls the pace.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Daario Naharis was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Naharis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Havener.

Havener is looking to clinch.
Havener wants to clinch up but Naharis keeps it at a distance.
Havener tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Naharis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A lazy left from Naharis finds it's target.
Naharis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Havener misses with a low kick.
Naharis with a jab.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Havener goes for a takedown attempt but Naharis pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Naharis connects with the punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Havener misses with a head kick.
Havener tries to clinch there but Naharis circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A shot to the liver by Naharis. Beautiful body shot.
Havener takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Naharis cracks Havener with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Naharis has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Havener to stand back up!


Havener is rocked!


Andrew Havener's cut is getting worse.
Naharis feints a jab and as Havener dips his head, Naharis unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Havener right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Havener falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Naharis smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Daario Naharis!
A less than humble Daario Naharis misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
In defeat, Andrew Havener stepped up to the mic, saying 'Time to fuck this guy's girl.'.
