And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francisco Civintiani!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Civintiani dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Civintiani is just out of range.
Civintiani tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackson is looking to clinch but Civintiani is avoiding it.
Good leg kick by Civintiani there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Civintiani gets tackled into the cage by Jackson. Jackson maintains the clinch.

Civintiani's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Civintiani throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Civintiani is in Jackson's guard.

Civintiani must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Civintiani tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard.

Jackson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Civintiani is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Civintiani backwards.
Jackson stops a takedown attempt from Civintiani.
Jackson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Civintiani pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Civintiani slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jackson is breathing heavily.

Jackson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Civintiani blocking some punches.
Civintiani is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Civintiani down to the mat. Civintiani avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Civintiani pushes him off.

Civintiani drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.
Jackson is trying to push Civintiani away but Civintiani has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Civintiani breaks the clinch.

Civintiani darts in and clinches Jackson up against the cage.

Civintiani breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Civintiani shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Civintiani showed some decent athleticism there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jackson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Civintiani is trying to control the action in half guard but Jackson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Civintiani gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Civintiani fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Chuck Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francisco Civintiani.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Civintiani avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Civintiani scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jackson doesn't seem bothered though.
Jackson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Civintiani closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Civintiani prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jackson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jackson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Civintiani to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Civintiani manages to break the clinch.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Civintiani paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Civintiani decides to stand back up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Civintiani lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jackson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Civintiani lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.
Civintiani throws an overhand right that drops Jackson like a sack of potatoes! Civintiani dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Francisco Civintiani!
