Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keiji Inoue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marshall Cosslett!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Cosslett does no damage.
Cosslett feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Inoue's calf.

Cosslett gets caught flat footed, as Inoue shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Cosslett wants to stand up but Inoue is controlling him.
Inoue postures up and lands a big shot to Cosslett's brow.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Inoue keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cosslett's head.
Inoue won't allow Cosslett to get back to his feet.
Inoue works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cosslett wants to get back to his feet.
Inoue is nestled in close to Cosslett, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Inoue winds up and cracks Cosslett with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Inoue is looking to take a break and control but Cosslett is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cosslett taking some punishment here, with Inoue in his half guard.
Inoue slips a nice elbow through Cosslett's hands, connecting with Cosslett's forehead.
Inoue stops Cosslett from getting back to his feet.

Inoue seems to be looking for submissions.
Inoue lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Inoue is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Inoue connects with a nice short shot to Cosslett's temple.
Inoue lands with a punch from half guard.


Cosslett is rocked!

Inoue is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cosslett doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Inoue.
Cosslett is still in real trouble! Can Inoue finish him?
Cosslett is trying to stand back up but Inoue is controlling him
Cosslett seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inoue passes to full mount!
Inoue postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cosslett looks a forlorn figure.
Cosslett looks winded!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Inoue landing strikes from the mount and Cosslett is in trouble!
Cosslett is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Inoue breaks from Cosslett's wrist control and lands an elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Inoue working for a submission but Cosslett is keeping him at bay.
Inoue connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Inoue lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Cosslett wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Inoue in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Inoue! Cosslett is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Keiji Inoue!
An out of breath Keiji Inoue thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
