Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafinha Capoeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Sobral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capoeira tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sobral keeps the fight on the outside.
Capoeira throws a nice looking combination but Sobral bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Sobral counters with a single leg into guard. Capoeira didn't expect that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sobral is looking to work some ground and pound but Capoeira has wrist control.
Sobral throws an elbow that misses. Capoeira uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sobral's guard. Nice move by Capoeira!
Sobral looking to hit a scissor sweep but Capoeira is one step ahead there.

Sobral working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Capoeira doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Capoeira manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sobral pushes a forearm under Capoeira's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Capoeira is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Julio Sobral decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
