The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savent looks for a takedown but Haggard sprawls well.
Savent shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haggard pinned against the cage. Haggard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Haggard thuds a left hand into Savent's body.
Savent tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Haggard defends well and Savent ends up having to push Haggard into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Davis Savent. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haggard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Haggard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Haggard jabs at Savent's body.
A slow jab from Savent misses its intended target.

Savent tries to bum rush Haggard with a series of wild strikes but Haggard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Savent shoots in for a takedown but Haggard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Savent fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Haggard avoids it really well and circles away.
Haggard paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Savent looks to clinch
and Haggard counters with a right hand to the body.
Haggard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Savent fails with the takedown.
Savent is breathing heavily.
Haggard scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Davis Savent has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Savent takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Haggard connects with a looping right hand.
Haggard scores with a punch to the head.
Haggard drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Savent right on the button. Savent goes down! Haggard follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Haggard gets the win via TKO!
