Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silvean Maxiq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Schmierer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmierer has chosen Down in Dunedin by Pissd Chris/Tokie Konez/Kamasuda/Devil Keyz as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Silvean Maxiq!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Schmierer!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmierer slips under a jab from Maxiq.
A looping hook to the body misses from Maxiq. Schmierer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Maxiq lands a jab to the head.
Maxiq swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Schmierer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maxiq.
Schmierer slips under a jab.
Maxiq looks to land a right hand but Schmierer moved out of range.
Maxiq drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Schmierer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Silvean Maxiq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schmierer throws a quick inside leg kick.
Schmierer throws a front kick aimed at Maxiq's knee but Maxiq avoids it well.
Schmierer moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maxiq jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Maxiq misses with a left hand
and Schmierer counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Maxiq connects with a jab.
Schmierer is rocked!
Schmierer takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Schmierer is still on wobbly legs! Can Maxiq finish him?
Schmierer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Maxiq throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Maxiq cracks Schmierer with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Schmierer tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Maxiq pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Schmierer is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Silvean Maxiq!
After winning the bout, Silvean Maxiq thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
