Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Remy Broussard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Lee Pettimore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pettimore has chosen Copperhead Road as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Lee Pettimore was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broussard tries to clinch up.
Broussard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pettimore defends it nicely.
Pettimore throws a series of punches but Broussard avoids them all with ease.
Pettimore misses with a two punch combination.
Broussard doesn't manage to clinch there - Pettimore circles away.
Broussard takes a jab right on the kisser.
Broussard pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Broussard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pettimore swivels and escapes.
Pettimore fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Broussard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Broussard misses with a head kick.
Broussard dodges the punch combination from Pettimore.
Pettimore fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Broussard to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Broussard looks to clinch but Pettimore throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Broussard taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). John Lee Pettimore!
