Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Katsu Higashikuni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastien Linne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Linne has chosen Arcturus - The Chaos Path as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Katsu Higashikuni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sebastien Linne!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Higashikuni.
Higashikuni lands a lovely overhand right.
Linne misses with a hook.
Higashikuni walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Linne checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Higashikuni waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Linne.

and Linne counters with a thumping low kick.
Higashikuni tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Linne wants to hold on but Higashikuni pushes him away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Katsu Higashikuni will probably get the nod.

That kick from Higashikuni tenderised Linne's leg. Linne is trying to keep his angry face on.

Higashikuni lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Higashikuni does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A very excited looking Katsu Higashikuni made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Sebastien Linne stepped up to the mic, saying 'Feel proud now, huh? Beating up an old man like me? 1 more fight..then retiring.'.
