Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shirley Spears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Spears works the jab nicely.

Brown darts in and clinches Spears up against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Andre Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Shirley Spears will probably get the nod.
