The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dough fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dickerson to the ground. Dough is now in Dickerson's guard.
Dickerson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Dough avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Dough drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dickerson dives on top into guard.

Dough has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dickerson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dickerson is looking to stand up but Dough won't let him.
Dickerson really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Dickerson throwing strikes from guard but Dough blocks nicely.

Dickerson drops back looking for a leg! Dough is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dough manages to kick Dickerson off! Dickerson jumps back into Dough's guard.

Dough is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dickerson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dough is proving hard to escape from.

Dickerson is sitting in close to Dough's body. Dough has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dickerson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dickerson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dough.
