Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Turner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Orlando Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Turner!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner has managed to clinch.

Turner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Turner rushes Henry and presses him up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Henry.
Turner works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Turner avoiding damage.
Turner comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Orlando Henry has been cut.
Henry takes a knee to the side of the body.
Henry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Turner misses with a knee strike.
Turner is looking to take this one to the mat.
Turner lands an elbow inside that Henry shrugs off.
Turner takes a knee right on the jaw!

Turner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Henry connects with a nice looking jab.

Turner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Turner throws a hook to the side of Henry's head but Henry sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Turner throws a front kick that sends Henry stumbling back into the cage.

Turner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Henry tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Turner is in Henry's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Henry has a closed guard, preventing Turner from standing up.
Henry lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Turner!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Turner enables Henry to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Turner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Henry decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Turner gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Orlando Henry's cut is getting worse.

Turner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Turner moves into range and clinches up with Henry.
Turner keeps control of Henry as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Turner lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Henry backwards.
Henry wants to stall.
Henry lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Turner jumps guard but Henry turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Turner misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Henry.

Henry is trying to force a seperation but Turner has the dominant position.

Henry presses Turner against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Turner tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Henry can't get the takedown.
Henry gets underhooks to prevent Turner's takedown attempt.
Orlando Henry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Turner.

Turner jumps guard but Henry stands there with Turner around his waist. Turner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Turner misses with a leg kick

and Henry counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Turner's guard now.
Turner throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Henry gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Jason Turner seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Turner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Henry walks away with a smile on his face. Turner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Henry slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Henry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Turner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Henry.

Henry gets tackled into the cage by Turner. Turner maintains the clinch.

Henry jumps guard and drags Turner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Turner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Turner throws an elbow that misses. Henry uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Turner's guard. Nice move by Henry!

That was a close second round but I would say that Orlando Henry will probably get the nod.

and Henry counters with a big head kick but Turner shrugs it off.

Turner clinches up with Henry and pushes him back against the cage.

Henry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Henry gets tackled into the cage by Turner. Turner maintains the clinch.

Henry jumps guard.

Henry escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Turner gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Turner clinches up with Henry and pushes him back against the cage.

Turner breaks from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Henry fails with a takedown attempt.
Turner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Turner misses with a takedown attempt - Henry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Turner moves into the clinch.
Henry tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Turner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Henry just stands there and leans against the cage.
Orlando Henry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Turner.

Turner tries to circle away but Henry has him pinned against the cage.
Turner creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Henry's defenses.

Turner throws a knee to the head but misses.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Turner just misses with a elbow thrown towards Henry's brow.
Henry blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Turner fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Henry wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Henry misses with a body punch.
Henry wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Turner has him pressed against the cage.

I would just about give that final round to Jason Turner.
I think Turner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
