Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trey Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mana Ching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Trey Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mana Ching!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ching closes the distance and clinches up with Wolf, looking for a takedown. Ching pushes Wolf against the cage but Wolf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ching shoots in looking for a takedown. Wolf tries to sprawl out of it but Ching keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wolf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ching closes the distance and clinches up with Wolf, looking for a takedown. Ching pushes Wolf against the cage but Wolf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Trey Wolf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mana Ching.

Ching clinches with his opponent.
Ching stalling in the clinch but Wolf improves position.
Wolf really is a fat lump.

Wolf breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick by Ching misses
and Wolf makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Ching stuffs the takedown attempt from Wolf. Wolf gets slowly back to his feet.
Ching throws a lazy head kick
and Wolf counters with a good low kick that Ching was not able to check.
Ching throws a looping overhand right but Wolf ducks down to avoid it.

Ching closes the distance and clinches.

Wolf tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Ching misses with a body punch.
Wolf goes for a takedown attempt but Ching pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Ching closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wolf did well to prevent Ching getting side control.
Wolf is looking for a sweep. Ching is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wolf might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wolf desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Wolf throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Wolf slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Ching stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Ching shoots and misses

and Wolf counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wolf.
Ching looks winded!
Ching is trying to drag Wolf to the mat but Wolf just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A nice right hand lands inside from Wolf.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wolf is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Wolf prevents the takedown attempt.
Wolf is trying to stall.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Trey Wolf.
Ching shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wolf sprawls well. Wolf wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ching gets slowly back to his feet.

Wolf clinches.
Wolf has a couple of punches blocked by Ching.
Ching tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wolf just stands there and leans against the cage.
Wolf lands a knee to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wolf lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ching is working for takedown but Wolf is calmly controlling the position for now.

Wolf breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ching misses with a takedown attempt
and Wolf counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ching tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wolf defends well and Ching ends up having to push Wolf into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Wolf throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Wolf stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Wolf tries to stall but Ching uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Wolf throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ching blocks it with crossed arms.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wolf is trying to pull guard but Ching has him pressed against the cage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Trey Wolf will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Ching misses with a head kick.
Ching tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wolf sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ching somewhat.

Ching drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wolf manages to get back to half guard.
Ching is breathing heavily.
Wolf keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Wolf throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ching lands strikes from half guard.
Wolf is not content to let Ching control the position.
Wolf wants to control but Ching is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wolf tries to get to full guard but Ching has control of the leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ching tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Wolf.
Ching is looking to take a break and control but Wolf is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wolf takes one to the chin there.

Wolf gets the takedown into side control.
Wolf misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Ching really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wolf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ching sneaks out the side door and pushes Wolf away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Ching clinches up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Wolf - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Wolf tries to stall but Ching uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Wolf pushes Ching back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wolf gets underhooks to prevent Ching's takedown attempt.
Wolf throws a knee to the head but misses.
Wolf is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Ching breaks from the clinch.

Wolf scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Wolf taking a breather here.

Wolf swings around for an armbar but Ching sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wolf's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wolf is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wolf throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Ching looking to sit in guard and control but Wolf gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wolf trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Trey Wolf will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Ching throws a shot to the body.
Wolf shoots in and drives through. Ching sprawls well.
Ching throws a head kick but Wolf moves out of range.
Ching throws a low kick but Wolf moves out of range easily.
No luck for Wolf with that takedown attempt.
Ching misses with a takedown attempt - Wolf sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wolf tries for a takedown but Ching circles away easily
and Ching counters with a head kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ching takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Ching drives through with a takedown into Wolf's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Wolf is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Ching frees his head nicely. Oh but Wolf has switched to an armbar! Ching is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
