Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaheli Sonni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyros Sisyphus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonni comes to the cage accompanied by Chica. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sisyphus has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Sisyphus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sonni as he jumps to the side.
Sonni fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sisyphus checks it well.

Kaheli Sonni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sonni.

Sonni shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sonni was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sisyphus is not content to let Sonni control the position.

Sonni has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sisyphus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Sonni is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sisyphus.
Sisyphus gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sonni.

Sisyphus will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sonni throws the kick towards the body but Sisyphus avoids it.
Sisyphus tries for a takedown but Sonni sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Sonni throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sisyphus was covering up waiting for the punch and Sonni finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kaheli Sonni overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sisyphus manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sisyphus fails to take his opponent's back.

Sisyphus has control of Sonni's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sonni regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Sonni bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Sisyphus is looking for a sweep. Sonni is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sonni perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Sonni is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Sonni! Sisyphus is hurt baaadly! Sonni is firing away with more strikes - Sisyphus is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
