The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergogolio throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bergogolio moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bergogolio looks to land a left hand but Penn moved out of range nicely.
Bergogolio throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Penn fails with a takedown attempt.
Penn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bergogolio circles away.

Penn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bergogolio avoids it really well and circles away.
Jorge Bergogolio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reagen Penn.

Bergogolio drops Penn with a beautiful combination! Penn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bergogolio is looking for the KO!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Penn walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Penn limp body while Bergogolio jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jorge Bergogolio!
A relieved looking Jorge Bergogolio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
